To promote the Season 3 premier of UK spy show Covert Affairs, the English network Really hired well known master of disguise Liu Bolin. Bolin, responsible for the invisible man series, is famous for body painting people exactly like the background which they are standing in front of, seamlessly making them disappear. The Chinese master of disguise has done this through out Beijing, then New York City, and now London. Looking through images of Bolin’s work is like looking through a Where’s Waldo? book, but actually interacting with the models can be very shocking to the unsuspecting people riding the bus or stopping by a produce stand, as shown in the video after the jump.[see_also]
Liu Bolin was born in 1973 and grew up in China’s Shandong province. Later on he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Shandong College of Arts in 1995 and his Master of Fine Arts from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing in 2001. Check out more of his works here.
