Beautiful Portraits Made With Old Wine Corks
Some artists like to be inspired over a nice bottle of wine; artist Scott Gundersen however, lets others enjoy the wine and makes art from the differently dyed corks. For his most recent portrait “Grace”, he used a total of 9,217 corks to create the beautiful and surprisingly detailed image. A Staple of Classic Art
Baptiste Debombourg recently created something beautiful out of a medium usually described as an office supply: a mural created entirely using staples. Inspired by the ancient story of Icarus and rendered in a classic style reminicent of the Renaissance, his modern work is also sure to leave a mark. Groovy French Pod Car

“Honey, I’m taking the Bubble Mobile to the disco!” This wacky concept car from 1970s France was called l’Automodule. Designed by engineer Jean Pierre Ponthieu, the vehicle was equipped with a small two-stroke engine, a hydraulic transmission and electronic controls. Give Stefan Sagmeister 7,400 bananas and some glue, and he will give you a giant Banana Wall.
