Black and White photography required a much greater commitment before the advent of the digital SLR. Now digital cameras and software can produce black on white on demand, so a photographer can choose later whether or not to remove the color from the photo.  There are still, however, those photographers that stay faithful to the classic method of using black and white film cameras.  Tomasz Gudzowaty is one of those photographers.
