Egyptian Teenager Designs The Cover For Pink Floyd’s New Album ‘The Endless River’

As a tribute to their keyboardist Rick Wright, who lost his battle with cancer in 2008, Pink Floyd is releasing a new album called “The Endless River.” Before his death, Wright was working on a solo album, which he was never able to finish. On the new album, which will be released November 10th, 2014, David Gilmour and Nick Mason include unreleased recordings from 20 years ago. The album cover design was created by Egyptian teen Ahmed Emad Eldin, who was discovered through Behance by the band’s creative agency. The cover features a man standing alone in a small boat, rowing through the clouds. Eldin says he was “thinking about life and nature” when he created the image. The last time Pink Floyd released an album was “The Division Bell” 2 decades ago in 1994, which is before Eldin was even born. [Read more...]
