When Back to the Future II launched in 1989 there were a load of people convinced that Hoverboards were real. I was one of them. As I thumbed through the back of magazines like Popular Science, desperate for news about when they’d be released, my enthusiastic young mind saw me hovering through the park and even shooting across water – I’d have POWWAHH of course!
