McBess is a French illustrator currently residing in London. His work is loaded with so much swagger and rock n’ roll attitude you find yourself wanting more than anything for his characters to be real — flesh and blood. You’ll wish you could slam a cold one and cheer them on like the garage rock gods they are; a beer swilling version of the Gorillaz. Mcbess is known for mainly working in black and white, which is 10x more rock n’ roll than working in color. McBess began drawing at an early age, and carried it over into his adult life.
