Serena Malyon, a third year Illustration student at the Alberta College of Art and Design, has taken classic works by Van Gogh and given them a modern twist. Using Photoshop she has blurred areas of the paintings to create a tilt-shift effect that gives the images a whole new look of depth. While some people may consider these images artistic blasphemy, Malyon explains, “This was just meant as a fun exercise, so don’t take it too seriously!
