Hip-Hop Mayhem with Cops On Fire

You know those shots from That 70’s Show where the kids are all sitting around the table in the basement philosophizing about life? This music video starts out like that, with a camera circling on a table… then explodes into dizzy arts and crafts mayhem! A cardboard world appears, buildings burn down, water-skiers do jumps… and all in a tiny cafe.

Cafe Turns the World on its Side

Looking something like a cafe out of Alice in Wonderland, the clever designers over at Nemaworkshop have created a place to get espresso that turns the world on its side. Inspired by the nearby New York Public Library, custom printed bookshelf tiles run along the floor, up the wall and along the ceiling. Herringbone wood flooring covers the side wall and lights cantilever out from the opposite wall. Turning your head on its side brings the optical illusion into focus. [Read more…]
