Bigger Than Ever: The American Dream, Stretched

Taking old postcards and stretching them, digital artist Assaf Shaham creates world skyscrapers and monuments that are far larger (well… taller) than life. Titled ‘The American Dream’ (an interesting choice considering some subjects are far from the States), one of the more interesting features of the series is that, since the originals are from color prints, any distortion in color or it’s offset in printing is magnified by the stretching, creating bright distorted rainbows.
