Sometimes there’s nothing better during winter than a nice warm sweater, and that’s just what the wall street bull got early on Christmas morning. New York based artist, Olek, spent the morning of December 25th freezing her fingers off installing the large guerrilla art piece over the iconic statue; a guerrilla art piece from 1987, itself. She says she “wanted to make it for all those people who couldn’t make it to their families and for those people who don’t have coats and don’t have any money.” While the piece made a large impact, its duration was short: the caretaker of the small park tore the sweater off after only two hours.
