Thursday 07.12.2012 , Posted by

Who needs jewelry from Tiffany’s and flowers when you can get a sexy calendar of your man for Valentine’s Day? One lucky lady received this tantalizing twelve month spread from her boyfriend, redditor ill_take_two. As a woman who has ended relationships based on the thoughtlessness of birthday and Valentine’s Day gifts, I think that men should take a lesson from this hilarious guy. The thought and planning behind this one would score some major magic brownie points in my book! Ill_take_two has set a high bar that I hope the rest of the men out there can live up to!

It’s hard to get enough of these amazingly beautiful movie remixes from audio/visual master Pogomix. It’s not so much about the video here though, but more about the intricate audio collages remixed from the sounds in each film. Pogomix does this adeptly, creating electronic music which sweeps us away into a nostalgic sugar high, reminding us of our youth and tickling our ears with smooth sine wave bass. He’s taken such hits as Hook, Harry Potter and about every Disney Princess movie, and created extremely catchy tunes using sounds from the films. [Read more...]

Be sure to check out the video at the bottom of this post. Very impressive. [Read more...]

For anyone who’s worked in the creative world, there are always those clients who seem to stand out. Maybe they don’t know what a pixel is, or are set on telling you those complimentary colors don’t quite work together… or maybe their suggested payment method is a little unconventional. When working with people there are always good stories of the times communication just didn’t seem to flow: this video highlights some of the best of those moments from the design world, sourced from the painfully hilarious site Clients from Hell.
