Carnovsky has continued their incredible color shifting wall coverings for Milan design week 2013, this time featuring themes of atmosphere, architecture, perspective, emotion and the ephemeral in constant movement. Their curved piece Atmospheric N.1, above, featured on the ground floor of the exhibition and changed from brilliant sunrises to sunsets, storms and even that elusive green flash as the sun disappears. The effect is created using bright LEDs in a RGB array, with illustrations in the exact same color on the wall itself. Schusev State Museum of Architecture Advertising Campaign 1

With the smart tag line “Discover the Full Story,” the Schusev State Museum of Architecture in Moscow recently released a seriously slick advertising campaign. Created by Saatchi & Saatchi Russia, it sees historic Russian buildings extending far into the ground as if the part we’re familiar with was only the peak of a much larger building. It’s as if archeologists had one day explored deep into the basement and discovered they were really in the attic. [Read more...]
