Put Your Head In a Mini Gallery and Become an Epic Sculpture

One of the oldest compliments in the book is that someone is “like a work of art.” Well, now that’s really, truly a thing. In Tezi Gabunia’s latest project, the artist invites people to his “exhibition” at London’s Saatchi Gallery — or at least a scaled version of it. In truth, Gabunia’s Put Your Head Into Gallery is exactly what it sounds like, allowing patrons to explore his exhibit by becoming a part of it.

The interactive project doesn’t just stop with the scaled model version of Saatchi Gallery (as seen above). More artists in more galleries are thoroughly constructed and featured properly, including The Louvre with the work of Rubens, the Tate Modern with the work of Hirst, and the Gagosian Gallery with the work of Liechtenstein.

Tezi Gabunia explains his preferred method of Falsification as “a reflection upon the basic features of the contemporary world—the absolute virtualization. Contemporary visual language studies provide handling and creation of mediums that itself originates a new generation of art. An artwork is a result of industrialized production, not creation.”

Behold the wonder in photos and a video below.
