Tracking the worlds Twitter users in Real Time

Tweetping1

French web designer Franck Ernewein has created Tweetping, a unique visualization of tweets posted from all around the world in real time. As tweets happen, Tweetping identifies them with a small flash of light on a map of the Earth. It also provides the viewer with information of what is happening on Twitter in real time, such as the last hashtag used on each continent.

Other information, such as the amount of tweets on every continent, how many words used and number of mentions are all included in the data visualization. To visit this fascinating site, click here. You can follow Franck on his twitter page here.
