If these works by Svetlana Ivanchenko were paintings, they would be impressive, but the fact that they are mosaics made of sand, shells, and sea glass makes them beyond incredible. The Ukranian painter uses natural materials to create imaginative mosaics that highlight the beauty of nature and life. Raised in Yalta on the Black Sea, Ivanchenko was able to collect a plethora of natural colors and textures to use in her pieces. The time, patience, and talent it must take for her to complete one of these intricate pieces is unfathomable to me. See more of Ivanchenko’s gorgeous works on Tutt Art.
