We Love Friday! – O Christmas Tree!

Did you know that Christmas trees are grown in all 50 states including Hawaii and Alaska? The Christmas Tree tradition started in Germany in the 16th century, but didn’t spread through America until the early 20th century, (History.com) which means, unless you’re a supercentenarian or grew up in another country where the holiday is not celebrated, you’ve been seeing Christmas trees at this time of year for your whole life. There’s nothing better than the nostalgia that comes from opening up those boxes of ornaments and decorating your Christmas tree to get you in the holiday spirit. The smell of a fresh pine tree and looking through this collection of Christmas trees from Instagram with the sweet sounds of Bing Crosby’s “White Christmas” playing in the background are an added bonus.

Thank you so much to all of our wonderful Instagrammers! If you like a picture, be sure to click on the link and let them know. Next week’s theme will be Hanukkah, so if you’ll be lighting the menorah this week, snap a shot of the festivities, upload it to Instagram, and tag it #Hanukkah and @visualnews. The best ones will be featured next Friday. We would like to wish each one of you a fantastic weekend, filled with holiday spirits and joy! Thanks for reading.
