Steampunk Disney Princesses… and Dorothy

Korean artist Inshoo has taken three of the Disney Princesses along with Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and brought them a little more up to date: 1800’s style. His steampunk reworkings are pitch perfect and full of detail, all while retaining the spirit of the original characters. Which illustration do you think best represents the original story?

These illustrations are wonderful and I love all the details. If I were to pick which one represent their story the most, it would have to be the Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz, just her henchmen though. They did all the fighting so they deserved the guns.

And although they look awesome with weapons, the actual heroines weren’t physically aggressive at all. They do have hearts of steel though.
