There’s nothing worse than getting caught with your pants down, especially if it’s during the psychotic rampage of a brain-eating, flesh tearing, walking dead style zombie apocalypse. Staying alive has become your new objective, and you’ve got a couple different options: hunt them down, or head for the hills. Either way, you’ll need to prepare for the eventual end of the world, and now is the time to plan, research and train.
Being packed and ready to go at a moments notice is key when preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse. Water and non-perishable food items are essential. Bring all necessary medications, sanitation products, and first aid supplies. A change of clothes is also recommended if you don’t want to stinkĀ something fierce (and would be much appreciated by everyone in your group).
Researching your new enemy is a clutch move. Pop culture has done a great job of showing you with generous amounts of reading and viewing material. Some of the best books to read are The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks, and The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman. Mandatory Friday night watching material includes: 28 Days Later, and Dawn of the Dead (both versions).Training for the Zombie Apocalypse could mean the difference between life and death, and there are over 1,300 zombie-related monthly events happening in the United States that you can add to your training calendar.
