Photographing Beaches From Far, Far Above

Everyone loves the beach, right? The hot summers summon inland dwellers to the ocean, where one can soak in the cool sea waters, lather up with their favorite lotion and look at the beautiful and not so beautiful individuals that wear little or no clothing.

While being on the beach is wonderful and relaxing, photographer Gray Malin decided to experience the beach a different way: by helicopter. Traveling to the hottest beach destinations around the world, Malin would arrange to be in the “flying Mosquito” and shoot aerial shots of the famous beaches from up above. Floating over such places as St. Tropez in France, Copacabana in Brazil and Bondi beach in Australia, Malin’s shots are colorful and beautiful.

A successful and still rising photographer, Malin has sold over 2,000 photographs already and his work can be found at his website
