Deep in the heart of Moscow is an apartment. In this apartment is wood, and…more wood and…oh yes, more wood! The very natural abode was designed by Petr Kostelov, a Russian architect who is quickly making a name for himself in the field. Every year Peter has consistently won awards for his unique residential designs. The wooden apartment is quite different than his previous houses; such as his multi-level apartment and this very industrial example also in Moscow; but his talent for pushing the limits is obvious throughout.
This wooden apartment is oblong in shape and ushers in a softening light from both sides. Only 110 square meters, the apartment is build with oak, and decorated with modern furniture and lighting. It brings a serene atmosphere and would house a happy single person and possibly a couple if they could share small space together for long periods of time.
