Philographics: The Artwork of GEX

Philosophy isn’t a lot of people’s strongest mental attribute, and London based graphic designer Genis Carreras — aka GEX — knows that people forget their —ism’s, so he came up with a clever and minimally designed way to help you remember each philosophy. His Philographics minimalist poster series, are a playful set of posters that explain philosophical belief systems using basic shapes, bright colors, a rad font, and a brief description of what each belief entails.

The bright colors draw you in as you glance at each different poster and belief system. His attention to simplistic detail really grabs your attention; each shape and symbol plays off the other to create an understanding of epic proportions. There’s almost no need for an explanation of what each belief entails below it’s title, because the graphics are more than adequate at displaying their message. Peruse through each poster at your leisure, then check out his Society6 profile to see which print would look best on your wall. Go ahead and pick one out for your bedroom, living area, and office while you’re at it!
