With eight seasons of wholesome family entertainment, The Cosby Show, remained in the Top 5 TV shows for 7 years and never dropped below the Top 20 the entire time it was on the air. Bill Cosby’s magnetic charm kept viewers tuning in every week and for years to come in syndication.
Most of the Huxtable family values and hilarious situations are still applicable today, and some of the fashions are even coming back! The cast had some of the most magnificent sweaters of the 80s, so much so that they inspired an art project called The Cosby Sweater Project. Each post features a picture clip from the show (highlighting the wardrobe), an illustrated textile of the garment, along with a brief episode description. This Tumblr started on March 27, 2011 and is still going strong. With 197 episodes, The Cosby Sweater Project will be entertaining us for a long time!
