Caught in Transition: Collages by Lucas Lima

As if caught midway in the process of deconstruction, illustrator Lucas Lima‘s collages appear to be reorganized magazine ads.  He incorporates shifting elements that seem to be caught in the process of either deconstruction or reorganization. Along with vibrant accents of color and superb compositions, his works are at the very least, appealing works of art.

Lima is better known for his interactive work, which makes sense, seeing as his collages appear to draw heavily from his eye for motion work. He is an award winning designer and interactive art director who has moved around the world from Bele Horizonte, Brazil to London, England and most currently to Stockholm, Sweden. Currently working for Volontaire in Stockholm, you can view all of his amazing work here.

I am a graphic designer and illustrator who never seems to have enough hours in the day. When I am not designing something, it would be safe to assume I am either reading or writing about it. All of my work is made possible by cereal and Johnny Cash songs. See evidence of many sleepless nights in my portfolio at www.bradwoodarddesign.com.
