Christian Svanes Kolding, a director of media objects and films, recently created a clever crossword puzzle/QR Code mashup for his film THE THINGS WE KEEP. The piece was part of the TALK TO ME exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in NY which used QR codes for each of its objects to give visitors easy access to more information on each item they viewed. Kolding’s dual purpose crossword design was in actuality a working QR Code and allowed museum visitors to watch his film on their smart phones (something not possible to do in the gallery without it).
