Are you looking for a flexible means of extra income, as many of us are in this time of economic downturn? This is easier said, than done, in most cases. We have all heard numerous claims of ways to makie an easy buck, and most of them are scams or just do not end up being lucrative enough to make sense to do. Well, over 100,000 people have discovered a way to do just this with Gigwalk! So, what is Gigwalk, how do you get involved, and how does it actually make you money? Gigwalk pays users small fees to perform tasks on the go, for companies involved in the navigational industry, restaurant businesses, and many more.
Do you own an iPhone (3GS, 4 or 4s)? Then, just download the free App, Photosynth, and make an account. Next, you will be required to perform some simple tasks to gain experience (termed “Streetcred”). 20 Streetcreds are the prerequisite to be able to do your first Gigwalk. For each task completed, you can expect to make anywhere from $3 to $100. Essentially, you get out of it, what you put into it in time, effort, etc. You’ll find it easy to locate many tasks in your area, as Gigwalk is active in many metro areas, such as: Chicago, South Florida, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, New York, Philadelphia and Seattle. What a successful business concept! Gigwalk is elated to announce, today, that 1.5 million tasks have now been completed using a skilled, mobile workforce, 100,000+ strong!
OK, so we’ve read that this works, but I wanted to see for myself, if this was something that I could actually make money doing. So I gave Gigwalk a whirl on shooting their 360 views of shops, and I ended up making around $20 an hour. Each job took me from 8 minutes to 20 minutes depending on how hard it was to take the 360 image of the location and how many questions the owners had. So, what is the bottom line here? You could make decent money from the App if you did it full time, and it’s fun to do, if a gig is on the same block where you happen to be getting coffee. Hey, the job could pay for your coffee!
