Carving gourds is an old and beautiful art form that I’ve seen many times before, but I’ve never seen anything like the lighted gourds of Polish artist Przemek. His dried creations are carefully perforated and carved, then lighted from inside to cast intricate and flowing patterns on the walls surrounding. Each lamp, because it was originally created by nature, is unique. Find out more about his work, and how to get one at calabarte.com, then get social on Facebook, Deviantart or Flickr.

Wow those are so beautiful. It’s like a DMT trip without the DMT!
I imagine they cost a pretty penny.
