From the introduction of the Macintosh in 1984 to the iMac in 1998, Apple Inc. has introduced industry changing design and thinking that continues to change how we interact with our computers, music, phones and more. No other electronics company can claim the sometimes cultish popularity of their products along with their famously thoughtful and user-friendly design. This graphic created by the folks at Mashable looks at the highs and lows of the company through the years, beginning with their first DIY Apple computer and ending with the most recently released iPad 2. Will we see more fruit on this “Apple Tree” before the close of 2011? It seems deliciously possible.
