Chris Milk’s new music video for the song 3 Dreams of Black is a unique and immersive new way to experience our music. Made in collaboration with some folks from Google (its a Chrome Experiments project), the video uses WebGL to render 2D and 3D imagery in your WebGL capable browser… and it even allows you to control elements of the vibrant action.

The capabilities of this new browser technology are just beginning to be explored and the team came up with a number of entertaining ways to use it. In a generous spirit the team also shared what they learned and made much of the code open source. At ro.me/tech you can play with an interactive 3D model viewer (super addictive) and view examples of some visually playful and interactive WebGL experiments.

3 Dreams of Black is a collaboration between Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi’s ROME along with Jack White & Norah Jones.
