Ole Salomonsen spent over 6 months in and around the Norwegan city of Tromsø, capturing over 50,000 still images to make this enchanting film. His many dedicated months in the snow have created one of the very best representations of a uniquely polar phenomena, the Northern Lights. Salomonsen says he tried “to preserve the real-time speed of the northern lights, or come as close as possible, and present it the way I experienced it.” Music for the video was created by a local Tromsø talent, Per Wollen, who’s audio track “Aurora in the Sky” can be found on iTunes.
