Kevin Rose, founder of Digg.com and host of the popular web show Diggnation, has just launched a new podcast and newsletter: Foundation. Billed as a monthly private email newsletter, it will feature video interviews, product reviews, rants, and early access to pre-launched websites, while promising to be a high quality source for all things Internet.

In this first episode, Rose interviews Jack Dorsey, creator, co-founder, and chairman of Twitter, as well as CEO of Square. They talk about decision making, entrepreneurship and the journey Jack took that led to the creation of Twitter and Square.

While Foundation videos will always be free of charge at Revision3.com, iTunes, KevinRose.com or tweeted out through Twitter, newsletter subscribers paying $3.99 a month will get to see videos without ads a week early. They will also get product reviews, rants, rumors, and early access to pre-launched websites. To sign up, go to fforward.us1.list-manage.com.

So why the charge? Kevin explains: “I’m spending money on equipment, travel, and editing. As you’ll see in episode 1, quality is very important to me, and I want to take the extra time and deliver the best experience possible, without ads in the video. That said, if you can’t afford the subscription, the videos will be released to the general public one week after it’s released to newsletter subscribers.”
