If you’ve ever wanted to own a Light Cycle, this clip will show you how they’re made! Bringing you behind the scenes images from the completely action packed Tron: Legacy, this short brings to light the many layers of creativity beneath the digital world of the “grid.”

Though light on words, this clip shows the inner workings of the film and its heavy use of motion capture, digital animation, face tracking, and blue screen trickery, all set to a jumping Daft Punk score. It’s interesting to see Jeff Bridges’ facial features captured and then restored into his younger self as CLU… it makes one wonder when we will be able to bring this fountain of youth to our own looks, at least in a digital world…
