You wouldn’t often think of technology as being controversial, but in their effort to promote products, big tech corporations have sometimes pushed the limits of comfort just a bit far. Here we bring you tech ads that had their plugs pulled from giants such as Microsoft, HP and Apple.

Microsoft: Nothing like setting the bar low with an Internet Explorer 8 video that features puking and vomiting and barfing and…

Apple: It might not be just a Mac this girl is using…

Newsday: Proving that the Apple iPad will never completely replace the newspaper… apparently apple doesn’t want you to know.

Microsoft: Reaching new levels of purity, this ad was banned because people said it promoted ‘sexting.’ Are they being to careful?

Intel: Hmm… what could possible appear racist about this ad?

HP: Featuring the song “Do you wanna touch me?” written by known sex offender Gary Glitter, HP decided the answer was “no.”

IBM: After combing the web IBM came off pretty clean… they did however hire the Amazing Racist, aka Ari Shaffir for the ad below.
