Remember the days of 5 1/4 inch floppy disks, reel-to-reel tape drives, green or amber monitors, terminals, big mainframes, big daisy-wheel printers, and more? Here is a selection of vintage promotional photos showing computing equipment of yesteryear.

Apple IIe, Apple IIc, Commodore 64, IBM AT are some of the first machines I ever used.

5 1/4 inch floppies?? Sorry kid, the first floppies were 8 inches, as the very last picture actually shows. (The whole right side of that computer is a floppy disk drive)

Wow, those are incredible photos! Thanks for sharing.
Not sure what the girl is writing from the “Challenger” screen (3 photos up).
I also like the idea of having an Apple IIE on the bed, but come on…
Lastly, a room full of Commodore Pet computers – ah, life was good back then.
